Canyon’s mini digital photo frame is a fun, inexpensive and thoughtful present.
Weighing only 0.08kg and measuring 3cm x 1.2cm, the egg-shaped photo frame doesn’t take up too much space on your desk. It has a 1.5” display and comes with 2MB of flash storage, which holds up to 138 photos (128x128). It also doubles up as an alarm clock.
Loading images onto the frame is fairly simple and is done via USB, included in the box. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac. The battery can be recharged via USB, while on display. Supported formats include JPEG and GIF.
If you are on a budget and balk at paying well over a thousand rand for a large photo frame, pass on the same sentiment by purchasing the egg photo frame and preloading it with images.
While the picture quality isn’t fantastic (16-bit), this would not be the primary reason for buying this item.
The photo frame costs R215 – R246 and is available in blue, green, pink and orange.
