PowerMonkey Classic

Assault your battery
You're out on the road, your last phone call drained the cellphone's battery to within an inch of its life. The car's power socket is powering the GPS and you're 100km from the nearest power outlet. Whip out the Power Monkey, attach one of the eight supplied power tips and you're good to go. If the device's connector isn't in the pack, simply mail Wintec Solutions and they'll post the one you need.
Mileage on the built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion battery may vary. We got a full charge, and some change, on our iPhone, which is already a power-hungry toy. iPods will get a whopping 40 hours extra and regular mobile phones can get up to 96 hours extra.
It's not a cheap emergency power solution, but the cheaper ones aren't as solid and don't come with all the right connectors (or backup service). Our only legitimate gripe is that some of the connectors, being non-OEM, don't sit as snugly as the manufacturer-supplied versions, but it's not a debilitating hassle.
The PowerMonkey Classic is a fantastic gadget to have. We found ourselves running down batteries just to use it, it's that cool. Anybody with a battery-powered device - so everybody, really - needs this in their cubbyhole or laptop bag.
