Apple Magic Mouse

Mediocre Mouse
Apple has come a long way since the single-button hockey puck that was shipped with the first iMacs. A while ago it gave us the corded Mighty Mouse, its first multi-click mouse with a multi-directional scroll wheel, which also offered a touch-sensitive right-click. Then we had the Bluetooth version of the Mighty Mouse, offering cordless connectivity and now there is the new, sleeker and more slimline version, with most of the top surface being touch-sensitive - allowing for finger gestures to scroll in all directions.
It may be Apple’s best mouse yet, but it’s still not perfect. It doesn’t fit well in the hand: its minimalist design and petite dimensions look good but don’t work in the real world and it lacks a middle click button.
The six-month battery life is okay, but competitors offer a year from two triple-A cells. So, it looks pretty, but is ergonomically unfeasible and the touch capabilities are rather limited compared to what’s available with Apple’s multi-touch trackpads on its laptops.
