Sony to bring 3D to life during the 2010 Fifa World Cup™
Sony’s 3D Experience Dome, also known as “3D world Created by Sony”, will be the first to be built on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton, Johannesburg, for the 2010 Soccer World Cup and will be open to visitors between 9 June and 12 July.
The Dome, says Sony, will bring 3D to life for the public, showcasing 3D images from all of the company’s entertainment platforms, ranging from sport and film to music and gaming, also showcasing exclusive daily content from the World Cup.
Apart from 3D World Cup Soccer content, visitors will also be able to experience LIVE entertainment shown in 3D, with performances by musicians off the “Hello Afrika” album produced by Sony Music.
With the growing interest in and availability of 3D technologies today, it would be worth your while to make the effort and go check out what the 3D world created by Sony has to offer. Digital Life will definitely have a look and share in the excitement.
