EasyNote M notebooks locally available
By Theo Boshoff
The EasyNote M Series notebooks from Packard Bell are now available in South Africa through Incredible Connection stores nationwide.
Packard Bell says the notebooks were specifically designed with mobility in mind, with a large focus on social networking functionality.
As such the company has introduced what it calls ‘single key social networking’, whereby a user is able to instantly post comments and update their profiles or share pictures or videos by pressing a single key.
Through this function, Packard Bell has put most of today’s popular social networking sites, such as Facebook, YouTube or Flickr, in a single place, giving one-touch access to sites for the easy management of users’ entire online social life.
The company says: “There is no need to launch an internet navigator at all. It’s done directly from the desktop.”
There are two sizes in the EasyNote M Series notebooks range – the 15.6-inch EasyNote TM and the 17.3-inch EasyNote LM (focussed on running and viewing video applications), featuring HD Diamond View Widescreen LCD displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The notebooks are available in two colours - NightSky Black and Cashmere Red.
These notebooks also feature enhanced control keys dedicated to multimedia, allowing users to easily play, stop and skip through music or videos.
Also featured is a multi-gesture touchpad to make navigation through content and websites simple and fast, as well as to assist users to quickly edit and manipulate pictures and artwork. It allows users to zoom in and out of pics and documents or web pages by pinching and dragging to fingers over the pad.
The Packard Bell EasyNote M series notebooks all sport Intel Core processors, a graphics card from NVIDIA or ATI, up to 640GB of storage and the full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.
