 Logitech as a companion

Following the news of Google TV, a lot of industry players came out in support of the initiative. Logitech is one of those, launching the companion box, which will bring Google TV to existing HDTV home entertainment systems.
According to Logitech, the companion box will easily integrate with any brand of HDTV and set-top box and offer a complete and easy way to navigate and control Google TV functions and applications, enhancing search capabilities.
The company says that the companion box will incorporate its Harmony remote control technology, and will include a controller that combines keyboard and remote control capabilities.
There are also plans to develop integrated HDTV camera and video chat for Google TV, as well as applications to turn a smartphone into an advanced controller for Google TV and home entertainment systems.
