 New Aspires now available

Acer fans rejoice. The company's new range of Aspire notebooks, focussed on the cinematic and entertainment user experiences, are now locally available.
The Aspire 8942G, Aspire 7740G and Aspire 5740G notebooks, sporting the latest Intel Core processors, are now on shelves at selected technology stores country-wide.
According to the company, the new range of notebooks deals brilliantly with multi-tasking and any high definition (HD) video and movie playback
 These notebooks feature CineCrystal screens for the delivery of HD image content.
The Aspire 8942G offers an 18.4-inch full HD screen with 1 920 x 1 080-pixel resolution.
The Aspire 7740G features a 17.3-inch screen with 1 600 x 900-pixel resolution.
The Aspire 5740G offers a 15.6-inch screen with 1 366 x 768-pixel resolution.
Furthermore, the notebooks incorporate a Dolby-optimised surround sound system with two built-in stereo speakers for 5.1 surround sound output.
They are available in either 4 or 8GB versions with DDR3 memory, feature integrated WiFi, Gigabit LAN and Bluetooth 2.1, as well as an Acer CrystalEye high definition webcam. Also included is a multi-gesture touchpad and dedicated media keys for quick access to multimedia and entertainment content control.
