The number of people using GPS devices is still growing and with the aim of making these devices more personal, TomTom has released a limited edition of its TomTom Start GPS device with the Blue Bulls supporters in mind.
The device has an official blue Blue Bulls skin, a pouch and Road to Victory DVD and, possibly the best of all, this device features Victor Matfield’s and Morné Steyn's voices, to navigate and direct you to exactly where you want to go.
Apart from these two voices, there are a further three Blue Bulls players' voices you can choose from. These are Akona Ndungane, Pierre Spies and Francois Hougaard. The device also features exclusive content such as the players' favourite haunts to visit or, in GPS speak, points of interest (POIs). As a further personalisation touch, the device's start-up and shut-down screens is a specially-created Blue Bulls screen.
 The device is easy to use and is ready to go once switched on. There are no difficult installation steps required and the menu has been simplified. It now features two buttons to plan a route or simply browse the map.
According to TomTom, the limited Blue Bulls edition will be available from the end of March 2010 at selected retail stores countrywide for approximately R1 799.
With the rugby season upon us, it is a novel idea to own a GPS sporting the team colours and voices of players you support. The only thing is, you have to be a Blue Bulls supporter.
