Navigation provider TomTom is making available another couple of South African voices to their offering for people who would like to be directed to their destination in a proper South African way.
Users can now download the voices of six local celebrities to guide them on their way during the Soccer World Cup.
These include DJ Fresh, who, once you’ve arrived at your destination, will tell you: “Dude, you made it, and you survived all the taxis. You are the man, yes including you lady.” The other celebrities are Sasha Martinengo, also from 5FM, Liezel van der Westhuizen from Jacaranda, funnyman Mel Miller, Jacaranda radio’s resident guest, Beauty, and Darren Scott, host of the Just Plain Breakfast show.
Each celebrity brings with them their own personal style of conversation, which can either be serious, funny or sexy.
