 Small and big at the same time

The guys at Toshiba have just released the small and sleek Stor.E Art3 external hard drives, available in 750GB or 1TB capacities, and weighing in at only 170g.
The 1TB drive is available in a Raven Black colour, while the 750GB drive comes in a Liquid Blue casing.
According to Toshiba, the 1TB disc, at the top capacity, can store up to 285 000 digital photos, 263 000 digital music files or 820 digital movies.
The Stor.E Art3 drives also feature an internal shock sensor and anti-slip rubberized side grips to help keep your data and drive safe while on the go.
The drives feature simple plug-and-play operation for beginners, but also offer customisable options for those with more tech knowledge.
They also feature what the company calls a 'set-it-and-forget-it' function to automatically back up computer files at regular intervals while in use.
The Stor.E Art3 drives further sport Windows-based NTI BackupNow EZ software, allowing for advanced search capabilities and simpler step-by-step restore functionality to retrieve lost files.
Users are also able to do a complete system backup, enabling them to restore selected files or the entire computer, even if Windows is unable to start, the company says.
The drives are available from Mustek at a recommended retail price of R1 299 (750GB) and R1 599 (1TB), each with a two-year warrantee.
