IT distributor, Axiz, is bringing the Lenovo IdeaCentre A600 all-in-one PC to the local market. According to Axiz, the PC has a tiny footprint, is the world’s slimmest all-in-one PC, takes up minimal space on a desk and is pretty to look at as well.
The PC is specifically aimed at the home user, and is a fully functional Windows 7 PC as well as a home entertainment centre, according to Darren Hengst, Axiz product manager, Lenovo DT and notebooks.
The IdeaCentre A600 features a 21.5-inch full HD, 16:9 aspect ratio, widescreen display. It includes Dolby Home Theatre with a subwoofer speaker, a 4-in-1 remote control, HD graphics, DDR3 memory and Multiburner.
Hengst notes that the A600 further features web camera software for facial tracking, and image effects and automatic brightness control through Bright Vision technology.
It sports an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, has integrated Wi-Fi, a 6-in-1 card reader, USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394 connectors, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Axiz has stated that the IdeaCentre A600 will sell for an estimated price of R7 999.
