Yay for shortened bank queues
By Theo Boshoff
Printer maker Epson has launches an all-in-one device, which it says will delight customers who hate standing in queues at places like banks and post offices.
The company’s PLQ-22CS/CSM dot matrix passbook printer and scanner is designed specifically for busy printing environments to process documents super-fast and thus reduce the time customers have to wait in queues for printouts.
The 24-pin, 94-column dot matrix printer is able to print and scan at high speeds without compromise on quality prints, producing images with 600dpi resolution.
Epson says the PLQ-22CS/CSM’s dual-side colour scanner also assists in electronically processing customer information on account books, cheques and bills at high speed, scanning both sides of a document simultaneously.
It also features a dedicated ID card slot, which allows for the quick and accurate scan of customers’ details, avoiding delays caused by ID skewing.
The device is also more environmentally friendly and electricity-efficient.
If you hate standing in queues, tell that service provider that it might be a good option to invest in the Epson PLQ-22CS/CSM, because it will help to ensure happier customers and shorter queues.
