Gaming Competition open
Theo Boshoff
All gamers, take note. If you are keen to take part in the Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) 2010 Gaming League, the online registration has just been opened.
As the only official online gaming competition in SA, you can earn yourself provincial colours and even possibly stand a chance to get to the national trial and earn national colours for gaming. Yip, that’s right. Gaming as part of Mind Sports is a recognised sport, like rugby, soccer, etc.
If you are interested in registering and being part of the fun, you have only until 29 March to get in on the action. So go register at http://www.mssa-cgboc.org/tournament_manager/. All the instructions are there on how to get involved.
So, if you think you have what it takes to be the best in the following games, go sign up:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
FIFA'10 (PS3)
Guitar Hero 5 (Xbox360)
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
Warcraft III: Defense of the Ancients
CounterStrike 1.6
Quake LIVE
