Nokia today unveiled its latest cellphone accessories at an event in Johannesburg, with the aim of adding value for users who wants to experience a fully integrated and immersive user experience.
The newly available accessories include four Bluetooth stereo headsets, two Speakerphones, an extra DC power charger that can charge any micro-USB device as well as a Nokia device using a 2mm charging interface, and a high-end hands-free car kit.
Two of the new accessories that stand out are the CK-200 car kit and the Bluetooth Headset BH-607, which includes a programmable 'My own key' button.
The BH-607's 'My own key' allows users to pre-programme the one button to do three different things to enhance the user’s multitasking ability. The BH-607 can also be paired with two different devices at the same time and will retail for about R500.
Nokia's CK-200 car kit is, according to the company, compatible with any make of cellphone that is Bluetooth capable, and can also be paired with two devices at the same time.
The system needs to be installed by a professional who, Nokia says, will be available from installers by June this year. The car kit, without installation, will set you back approximately R1 500.
