Are you burning up with frustration over poor service and hours on the phone with the call-centre? Then logging the details on HelloPeter.com could make a difference.

There are times when endless calls to the call centre produce no results. Every call results in you having to repeat the full details of the issue at hand. Every time you speak to a consultant a new reference number is issued along with the expected 48 hour delay before you can expect any response. 

I had an unresolved problem with Discovery Health. The call-centre consultants were all very helpful, but after a month of endless reference numbers and lack of resolution, I posted the complaint on Hello Peter. Within two hours I received a call from the executive office. At last, action was being taken to get the issue resolved. I even have a number to contact. 

The problem has not been fixed yet, but this time I expect that it will be solved within a few days. 

Some companies do not care about Hello Peter. They simply ignore any complaints posted and continue as normal. Others respond in varying degrees. MTN respond to some extent. A few years ago Hi-Fi Corporation managed to sort out a problem with an iPod only after a Hello Peter post. 

Discovery Health is very sensitive to bad publicity of any kind. I would have liked my issue to be escalated much earlier rather than going round in circles.
